100 days left until the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON
Secure one of the last spots!
2019-06-21
The countdown begins – in 100 days, the starting shot for the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON 2019 will be fired. The preparations are already in full swing. And final preparations are also underway for all of the runners and inline skaters. If you have not yet booked your spot for the season highlight at the end of September, you can still do so in a variety of ways.
Runners
While the official lottery is already closed, you can still book a spot through one of our charity partners or tour operators until August 12. We only recommend signing up this late if your training is well underway.
Our official charity partner Realbuzz (UK) as well as other charities offer the starting spots together with a fundraising campaign. This also applies to groups who wish to run together.
You can also still book your spot through well-known tour operators as part of a package deal (such as hotel accommodation and/or travel). This also applies to groups.
The running competition will take place on Sunday, September 29.
Inline Skaters
When more than 5,000 inline skaters from all over the world take over the streets of the capital, Berlin goes crazy. On the fastest course in the world, the pros battle for victory, while hobby skaters and newbies will experience their personal season highlights here.
As part of the "Come on and join me!" offer, newcomers benefit from a very special welcome discount. All skating fans who have never participated in the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON Inline Skating event pay only € 38 when they are recruited by a full-paying participant.
Registration is open until August 29. The race will take place on Saturday, September 28.
Social Media – Stay connected
It is worth your time checking out your social media for tips and news about the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON. The Facebook pages of the running and skating marathon provide photos, videos and background information about the preparation, the EXPO and the race itself.
Instagram (@berlinmarathon and @berlinmarathoninlineskating) primarily offers insights and impressions. During the event week and on race day itself, the stories allow a look behind the scenes and of the final preparations for the big day. Participants can share their preparation and racing experiences with the hashtags #berlin42 and #berlinlegend.
