Just in time for the spring running season, the newly designed flyer of the German running event organisation, German Road Races (GRR), is out. In an attractive new brochure with a circulation of 165,000, the big German running event organisers are going on the offensive and promoting the 44 events which last year drew over 400,000 participants of all ages and abilities.  The new GRR flyer will be distributed with the race materials at all of the big GRR events of the season, so that the runners can receive it first hand.

Attractive flyer

Under the pen of the graphic designer Thomas Kattwinkel of Bremen, a new, attractive flyer has been created, which not only includes the German race dates, but also presents the dates for the big races in Switzerland as part of a newly started cooperation with “Swiss Runners,” as well.  With 24 events, the palette of Swiss races is very attractive; the Swiss counterpart to German Road Races includes high participatory events like the Grand Prix of Bern and the Zurich Marathon, as well as very interesting country races like the Jungfrau Marathon and the Swiss Alpine Marathon in Davos.

Complete Overview

“With this flyer, the runners in Germany and Switzerland have a comprehensive and very attractive collection of options for their athletic endeavours at their fingertips,” as Horst Milde, the spokesman for German Road Races, emphasises the importance of the publication. “Our target group is all runners, as we would like to present a complete overview of the optimally organised running events for all types of runners—professionals and those who just run for fun, older as well as younger running enthusiasts!”

In addition to the printed GRR flyer, the interest group of the big race organisers also has given a new look to its internet presence. The Berlin agency bytepark has given the homepage of German Road Races a complete overhaul, and now a visit to www.germanroadraces.de <http://www.germanroadraces.de> with its fresh look is really worth it.
