12th Jungfrau-Marathon – The most beautiful marathon course in the world

Only a few weeks to come: On September, 11th 2004 four thousand runners from more than 40 nations all over the world will run the largest mountain race in the world. The Jungfrau-Marathon takes place in the heart of the Swiss Alps.The race course - rated as the most beautiful marathon course in the world -
starts in Interlaken and finishes after 26.2 miles and 6033 feet difference in
altitude on Kleine Scheidegg at the spectacular base of the world-famous Eiger,
Mönch and Jungfrau peaks.
Ten thousands of enthusiastic spectators and more than 1100 volunteers guarantee an awesome atmosphere. The 4000 entries for the 12th edition are sold out for several months. An early entry is strongly recommended. If you wish to run the 13th Jungfrau-Marathon on September 10th, 2005, please apply for an entry form at www.jungfrau-marathon.ch
Please note that pre-entries close on February 25th, 2005. If well count more than 4000 pre-entries, a lottery has to decide on your entry. Thus youll have plenty of time to tackle the ultimate challenge of mountain marathoning…
