adidas and SCC Berlin prolong successful partnership

Clear statement of commitment to the real,- BERLIN-MARATHON

adidas and SCC Berlin have extended their partnership with the real,- BERLIN-MARATHON until 2005, continuing an agreement which is oriented towards professionalism and success.

"The real,- BERLIN-MARATHON is the most important single running event in Germany. We are pleased to be making a long-term contribution to this top international event", commented Oliver Brüggen, Press Spokesperson for adidas Area Central.

As Official Sponsor and Supplier to Germanys biggest marathon, adidas will continue to utilize the event in coming years to demonstrate its competency in the running sector. adidas will also continue to underline the success of the partnership commenced three years ago, with an offering of accompanying activities. For example, adidas will continue to utilize the event as a platform for retail partners, will send own teams to compete in Berlin and will further intensify cooperation in the communication and marketing sector, strengthening its successful involvement in athletics in Germany and around the world. In addition to its presence at the real,- BERLIN-MARATHON, adidas also plays an active role as Official Sponsor and Supplier to the prestigious marathon events in Madrid, Boston, Paris, Prague, Rotterdam and London. Together with its partner SCC Berlin, adidas will continue to underline the attraction of the real,- BERLIN-MARATHON.
